  • It might work out OK, but honestly I also agree. This is a bone-headed move. It's not broke, don't fix it. Ariza will be missed. If the Lakers front office is smart they'd keep Ariza, as well as bring in Artest, and pay the luxury tax.

  • Lakers won both games against the Celtics this year, before KG went out for the season.  So to make a statement like this is a little bold.  Just wait until next year and hopefully any doubt will be answered by the Lakers dismantling the Celtics in the Finals.
